Yes, my thesis is submitted and already on its way for the members of the jury.
I look forward for the two weeks of holidays and then I will be back to prepare for the defense, which is expected to come sometime end of January or beginning of February.
So I have got the final corrections from my promoter.
My conclusions are also formulated. 90 percent of the corrections including the formatting are also done. Now I am going through the references. I will write acknowledgements tomorrow morning with a fresh mind.

I had to do re-planning over the summer and now I am finalising my thesis. Most chapters were read by my promoter and now I am working on the corrections. Still have to formulate my conclusions. Another busy weekend…
My first post will be rather very short.
As you know I am busy with my doctoral dissertation for the moment.
I am working the chapter “intermodal transport in Turkey”. This chapter describes the current situation of intermodal transport in Turkey and presents a concluding scenario for the location analysis model for Turkey.
This chapter took much more time than I expected. As I am reading various Turkish resources it is not very easy to write in English. I have set a deadline for my self, my draft chapter should be ready by March, 8.
