Last month I have travelled to Rio de Janeiro for participating the World Conference on Transport Research | WCTR 2013. The conference was big and had some interesting sessions, especially when I have also presented my paper about the Twin Hub project. The cultural experience was also important for me as I was traveling to this part of the world for the first time. I have actually extended my stay in the region. I normally like to stay in a city for long so I decided to limit my stay to Rio and Buenos Aires. Two major cities in two neighboring countries. In this blog post I would like to share my observations about the public transport in these two cities.
In addition to the power of social media, Turkish public is using google maps infrastructure for their democratic protests against the suppressive AKP regime of Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
The projection from last month was very nice. I am told that around 150 people were there.
Here you can find some pictures from the projection that are made by a trainee. Vincen Beeckman from Recycclart was on stage to present the work.
Very cool stop motion footage about a container ship sailing between Hong Kong and Singapore.

Filmed with GoPro HERO3: Black Edition (except the last 3 shots at the Singapore port where the GoPro HERO2 was used).
The famous thinker that I have photographed on VUB campus was used in poster/flyer for the international conference: Evaluating Research in Arts.
