I graduated from Izmir American Collegiate Institute in 1999 and then received my Bachelor degree in International Relations from Izmir Dokuz Eylul University in 2003 . After I moved to Brussels, in 2004 I completed Master in European Economic Integration and Development and in 2006 Master in Advanced Management Studies from Vrije Universiteit Brussel.
In April 2010, I obtained my PhD on Applied Economics with my thesis titled “Intermodal Transport Policy: A GIS-based Intermodal Transport Policy Evaluation Model” (Promotor: Prof. dr. Cathy Macharis).
I am currently working as an Environmental Economist at the CER (Community of European Railway and Infrastructure Companies).
